Please Comment: Our students will learn most quickly what works well and what doesn’t based on YOUR feedback. Please don’t feel like you have to know something about neuroscience to comment. Our goal is to try to make the research interesting and accessible so when that works, tell them. When it doesn’t work, please tell them that too!
Please Be Civil: These students are undergraduates and NOT experts in the field. This course is about learning communication skills and thus one might sacrifice in the area of accuracy or completeness. Don’t hesitate to let the students know when their writing is misleading or confusing, but please communicate your comments in a positive and civil manner. Any inappropriate comments will be removed by the moderator.
Please Be Encouraging: Even if you don’t have time for a long, insightful comment to a post, something as brief as “I understand the importance of that research” of “That is really interesting” will continue to encourage and motivate the students.
