In October 2012, the Carnegie Corporation of New York awarded Emory University major funding for a comparative project on recovery from conflict in West Africa and Southeast Asia, entitled “The Comparative Postconflict Recovery Project: New Solutions for Building Livable Peace In and Beyond West Africa.”
