Men from the host village form a receiving line and call out the kinship or gift exchange name of each visitor as they snap fingers with him (like shaking hands). By this means, each host individually greets each male visitor. In the photograph, Bruce is among a contingent of men from his village who are being welcomed at a feast in an adjacent community.
