Ronald Bonner currently serves as an Associate Pastor for Community Engagement, Diversity and Justice, and Small Group Ministries at the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in Atlanta, GA. Prior roles were as an Assistant to the Bishop of the Southeastern Synod of the Evangelical Church in America, Pastor of the Lutheran Church of the Atonement, Manager for Multicultural Resources for Augsburg Fortress Publishers, Assistant to the President of the United Church of Christ for Affirmative Action and Equal Employment Opportunity. Ronald has a strong interest in social justice related to the gospel of Jesus Christ and public policy. Ronald was confirmed and ordained in the United Church of Christ and has severed there as in the ELCA in their three expressions. Ronald, the father of two sons, five grandchildren, and the great grandfather of Aspen Bonner, is married to The Rev. Dr. Rosetta Ross, Ph.D. of Spelman College, where she serves as a full professor for Religious Studies.
