Requirements:
Advanced degree with an interest in violence prevention research
Available to travel to the United States for a one-month intensive training program
High English language proficiency
One-Page Research Proposal
- Research Question: A clear research question that the proposed research will address
- Rational and Significance: a brief rational for why this research question is significant
- Methods: Brief overview of the study design and methods to conduct the proposed research
- Sample: Description of the proposed study sample (primary or secondary data)
- Qualifications: Brief description of your qualifications to conduct the proposed research
Research Project Options
Fellows can use existing data made available by a CONVERGE mentor or a current mentor.
Fellows may also propose to collect their own data (if this is feasible during the 17-month program period).
Data can be qualitative and/or quantitative.
