About the Course

It’s last Friday in September from 10:30-1:00

Course Description

This is a one-credit course that provides students an opportunity to lead and promote a deeper understanding of sustainable food and ecological justice among the members of the Emory Community at large. This course enables students to learn about and engage with like-minded individuals within the Atlanta food and beverage industry, local farmers and other specialists committed to sustainable food production practices. The Fair will be held on Friday, September 29, 2017. Tasking the students with the execution of this project will allow them to further their leadership skills, demonstrate their commitment to sustainability and enable them to become agents of social change.

The Sustainable Food Fair is supported by the Emory Office of Sustainability Initiatives and Emory Dining and the Emory Center for Faculty Development and Excellence.
