Discussion Post Week 4

I am considering using an app or website that shows the major Baroque artistic buildings and works in a city. I’m thinking about potentially documenting important Baroque works in Madrid, like Las Meninas and a few others that can be seen in the Prado Museum along with important Baroque buildings that still stand today. The website or app would use Google Maps to contextualize the locations of the buildings or works, and would include descriptions of each of the works along with their general impact, significance, and broader context in which they were made. Outside of Las Meninas, some other works I may include are the Taking of Breisach, The Immaculate Conception of Los Venerables, and the Christ of Clemency sculpture by Juan Martinez Montañes and Fracisco Pacheco. In addition, I might also add Plaza Mayor as a Baroque location on the website.
