The ARRS (Slovenian Research Agency) has awarded a travel grant to support the research project “Study of micellization of long chain carboxylates through thermodynamic modeling of ITC experiments supported by molecular simulation”  between the group of Prof. Marija Bešter Rogač (University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology) and the Kindt group.  We will be using molecular dynamics simulations (assisted by the PEACH method) to help interpret calorimetric and other physical studies of fatty acid micellization.  We look forward to productive and stimulating interactions on both sides of the Atlantic!
