All of the movies, television shows, and documentaries in the Oxford Library collection of over 1400 DVDs are searchable by title, genre, actor, and year of release through a new iPad application called MyDVDCatalog. Additionally, patrons can scroll through DVD covers on the app and retrieve plot summaries and ratings. The app is loaded on a dedicated iPad in the library’s new release DVD display. Every DVD is still available in our searchable Discovere catalog available on the library homepage.
To better serve patron requests, a DVD request form is now available for titles available from Emory’s Music and Media Library. The form allows our patrons to quickly request Music and Media items deliverable to the Oxford library for checkout. If you do have a DVD request that is not available from one of the Emory libraries, please let us know so we can consider acquiring the item.
