Have you ever been on a hold waitlist for an eBook or audiobook, only to have the book finally made available to you when you didn’t have time to read it? This spring, OverDrive is implementing an exciting new update called hold redelivery to replace auto-checkout. Hold redelivery allows OverDrive users to “pass” on their hold for an eBook or audiobook while still keeping the user’s place in line:
Don’t have time to read your eBook or listen to your audiobook when your hold becomes available? Hold redelivery gives you the ability to pass the eBook along to the next person in the hold line.
