Journal Prompt 7 Joe Byun

For this last weekend, I rarely experience some time to myself and haven’t explored much of Georgia as well, so this walk in Stone Mountain Park was a treat. The view of the landscape reminded me of the time I would go on vacation to see some tourist sites. It was oddly nostalgic in a way that I could take a breather from the work I had and a mental reset as I took in the environment for about 2 hours. It was difficult to walk around the terrain, but it was worth it when I made it to the destination. I slowly took it in, but it left me feeling that I wanted more a bit to explore the place. In general, having walks and exploring another perspective of the world was fulfilling.
