On a Saturday night on October 9th, I baked an apple cake using fresh apples that I had picked from a few weeks ago. My roommates and friends went to bars that “Halloweekend” night but since I was feeling a bit under the weather and decided to bake by myself. It was nice doing something alone for myself since being in college, I am usually constantly surrounded by people whether it is in my classes, in my apartment with my roommate, or doing social activities.
When doing this activity, I realized that I really am not alone usually unless I am studying, practicing piano (which is for my major), or running. It was a refreshing feeling for me to just have time for myself and do something for myself. My experience was so enjoyable that I even made another apple cake the next weekend on a Sunday.
