Further discussion of “beloved” or “be hated” evils : Part 2

I would rather be a villain.

Born to be enemies, heroes and villains continue their war for decades, even centuries. Someone claims that they only exist because of the other one exists.  I do not agree.

It should be: Without villain, hero is not hero; While without hero, villains are still villains.

In the long course of history, hero is always the one that people peruse. They are brave, honest, kind and always ready to save the world. Most importantly, they can get rid of the villains. They are surrounded by people’s praise and cheers, with trophies and flowers in their hands, ready to perform the next great task.

But the problem is that heroes have no shortcomings.

Every time I walked out of the cinema, my friends sighed the handsome and powerful of the hero. Heroes are so perfect, flawless and tireless. Heroes are not allowed to be fragile. They were bound in tight clothes day and night, circling in the air, keeping calm in the face of all dangers and disasters. Gradually, they forget that they are also human beings, who will be ecstatic and sad, who will live and die.

Not a single villain is complete evil. We hate the selfishness of the villains, or their absurd plan to save the world, but they are living people, real people, who will inevitably be affected by the irrationality of emotion and nature. They did not worry about the vast world, but realized that “we should take care of our own garden” as Voltaire’s Gandhi grew up. Their stories are qualitatively mixed with personal emotions, and behind their seemingly stupid behaviors are their beliefs and codes of conduct.

Heroes will lose themselves, being trapped in the gold and perfect dream that others created. Villains will not. If one day all the villains disappear, our hero may become at a loss. People no longer need them. For a long time, heroes’ recognition of their own value comes from others, and their confidence depends on the existence of villains standing in the dark on the stage. But for the villains, if one day the heroes disappear, their lives will not change. Whether there are obstacles or not, they all firmly believe in their own value judgments and pursue their own goals. Big or small, they clearly know what they want.I want to be a villain.I sacrifice myself to set off my opponents on the screen, entertain the audience, and open a better world closer to people’s dreams with my flesh and blood.

My existence helps people define virtue. If there is no evil in the world, how can we define beauty and understand the value of beauty?

Our existences are also a warning. There seems to be a clear distinction between black and white, but in fact there is No. With the same goal and the same environment, some people work hard for their ideals, while others only kill cruelly. People’s degeneration is usually between one thought. Those villains who went antisocial because they were bruised all over taught us to be kind to everyone around us, otherwise the scars on their bodies today will become sharp blades of tomorrow.

I want to be a villain.

A hero lives for others, people he cares about or doesn’t care about, people he loves or doesn’t love. Villains live for themselves and the people they love. I hope to have the courage to treat differently. Love everyone unselfishly, but only protect the people I care about and love. In order to keep my selfish beauty, I would like to bet everything and give everything, even if I would be called——Villains.

“The only person you need to be good enough for is yourself”
