Scholars Program
TITANS will bring together teams of researchers from nursing, medicine, and public health to design, implement, and evaluate interventions to address NCD prevention and management. The program will provide extensive mentorship for implementation research and team science participants. The program aims to promote multi-disciplinary, team-based, implementation research that reduces the NCD burden in Ethiopia.
The training program includes three phases:

- 8 months of in-country mentored research where teams will conduct a pilot project related to cardiometabolic or renal health.
- A short course on implementation and team science with an audience that includes government, clinical, and other health professional partners.
- Networking: Networking opportunities with public health leaders from prominent global health agencies and institutions.
- Financial: Participating scholars will receive a stipend and research funds to support their project activities and scholarship at their home institution.
- Resources: Access to Emory University’s research infrastructure, including Libraries and Information Technology Services (LITS), while participating in the program.
