- 141 M1 students
- 101 women; 40 men: (71.6% female and 28.3% male)
- Age range: 21-29 (mean age 24 years old)
- 85% are “non-traditional” – (i.e. have spent at least 1 year out of college before enrolling in medical school.)
- 41 are self-described “underrepresented” minorities
- Residents of 30 states represented in this incoming class
- Citizens of 12 non-US countries represented
- 73 different undergraduate institutions represented
- 25 begin medical school with post-graduate degrees (i.e. MS, MPH, doctoral degree)
