Mission Possible 2: Building Community Through Health Fairness – Atlanta’s Co-Authored Research Legacy

As part of Emory University’s ongoing commitment to health equity and community collaboration, the Woodruff Health Sciences Center Library is proud to present Mission Possible 2, a new digital exhibition launched in conjunction with King Week 2026.

This exhibit explores how Emory University, in partnership with Morehouse School of Medicine and Grady Health System, has carried forward Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s vision from the Poor People’s Campaign into meaningful public health action. Through decades of collaboration, these institutions have worked together to address health disparities and improve health outcomes for Atlanta’s communities.

What You’ll Discover:

• A curated selection of co-authored research from Emory and Morehouse School of Medicine spanning over 40 years.

• Insights into the enduring legacy of collaboration that continues to shape a healthier, more equitable Atlanta.

This digital exhibit is more than a historical reflection—it’s a celebration of shared progress and a call to continue building bridges for health justice.
