EMBASE is a European-based literature database offering worldwide biomedical coverage, excellent for drug, pharmacology and disease literature searching. Create search strategies using keywords and indexing terms just as in PubMed. Quick filters available to the left of search results allow users to quickly narrow down to a drug, disease, medical device, or study type.
While there are many overlapping journals between PubMed and EMBASE, EMBASE offers expanded coverage of European, African, and Asian publications. Use it to expand upon or supplement a search in PubMed.
