The WHSC Library’s eBooks List Has a New Home and New eBooks from ClinicalKey

On Monday, October 13th, the WHSC Library’s “Selected eBooks” list will migrate to Emory University’s ScholarBlog platform. While not all the subscribed eBooks will be found on the blog platform, it allows for subject tagging and text searching, which improves the ability to discover new and relevant eBooks. Additional eBooks can be located using the University catalog discoverE.

The blog features eBooks from AccessMedicine, Books@Ovid, Thieme, and ClinicalKey, the library’s new clinical search engine and point of care tool. Click here to access the eBooks blog.

In addition to the eBooks blog migration, the WHSC Library introduces ClinicalKey. ClinicalKey provides a platform that allows users to search journals, book, practice guidelines, drugs, and much more simultaneously. With ClinicalKey, Emory users will have access to over 1200 eBooks, 500 journals, access to patient education, a drug database, images, videos, CME, Procedures Consult and First Consult.

ClinicalKey can be accessed on and off the Emory network at: http://pid.emory.edu/gk30z
