APHA 2017 – Atlanta, GA

I presented the findings of a team of graduate students from the Emory Climate Analysis and Solutions Team (ECAST) that I co-led with Sam Peters working with the City of Atlanta Mayor’s Office of Resilience assessing the potential public health co-benefits of Atlanta’s Climate Action Plan adopted in 2015. The poster was well received and I made connections with state and federal scientists who would like to help with the project. Next steps include disseminating our findings to the public. The cost of poster printing was covered by the Laney Graduate School New Thinkers/New Leaders Award ECAST earned earlier this year with my support.
