Instructure will release updates to our Canvas environment Saturday, November 16, 2019. Highlights include the following.

  • Students and teachers can unfavorite courses from the dashboard card view.
  • In New Quizzes, teachers can manually submit student in-process attempts.

This month’s release notes contain the helpful reminder that the New Gradebook is scheduled to replace the current gradebook everywhere on January 18, 2020. The course-level New Gradebook feature option has been activated for all official Spring 2020 courses. Teachers may also activate the New Gradebook in current courses in their course settings area’s Feature Options tab.
