Sponsored by the Scholarly Communications Office and the Emory Center for Digital Scholarship, the Emory Open Education Initiative is a new program that will provide accepted faculty $1,000 to support the implementation and/or production of Open Educational Resources (OERs) for a Fall 2014 course. In addition to the funds, faculty will participate in two half-day immersion training sessions to learn more about OERs, including how to find, evaluate, implement, and create them.
For more information, view our Emory Open Education Initiative Overview Presentation (edit: also embedded below) and read our EOEI Call for Applications, which includes a link to the online submission form.
Immediate details:
- The online application due date is March 31, 2014.
- If you have additional questions, you can attend the EOEI overview scheduled for Wednesday, March 19 at 10 a.m. The overview will be available in-person or using Adobe Connect via a telephone and computer.
