山亭夏日

[唐] 高骈

绿树阴浓夏日长，

楼台倒影入池塘，

水晶簾动微风起，

满架蔷薇一院香。

 翻译：

茂密的绿树虽然洒下一地浓浓的树荫，仍然让人觉得夏日特别的漫长。楼台的倒影清晰的映在平静的池塘里，忽然发现水晶帘轻轻的摇晃起来，绕觉得微风吹过，随着风传送来蔷薇的花香，使得整个园子都充满了醉人的香气。

 Translation:

       Even though the lush green trees spread a heavy shade over the ground, people still feel the summer day are very long. A tower casts its clear reflection onto the still pond. Suddenly I sense the crystal curtain beads swaying lightly and I feel a gentle breeze waft by. It brings with it the sweet smell of roses and fills the entire courtyard with an intoxicating fragrance.

              高骈字千里（西元八二—八八七）。这首描写夏日的诗，首句“绿树阴浓夏日长”将炎夏树荫匝地的景色极为传神的描绘出来。在暑气逼人的夏天，让人觉得白日似乎特别的漫长。平静的湖面清晰的映出楼台的倒影。一切似乎静止的时候，多么希望能有一阵风带来些许凉意。忽然发觉水晶帘微微的晃动起来，随着这一阵清风，传送来一股醉人的花香，三、四两句衔接得多么巧妙，带给读者一份清和宁静的感觉。

Gao Pian, also known as Gao Qian Li (821-887).  This poem is about summer. The first sentence describes the dark shadow of the green trees, an indication that the summer days are long is long. This sentence vividly describes how the tree casts a shadow in the hot summer. It is such a hot summer that one feels that the daytime is extremely long. The surface of the lake is very calm and clearly reflects a balcony hanging over the lake. Why is everything so calm and still? How much one hopes that a cool breeze will bring a sense of refreshment!  Suddenly, one sees the crystal curtain moving slightly with the breeze. It carries a flowery fragrance that makes one feel drunk.  The third and fourth sentences are skillfully connected. They inspire feelings of calmness and purity in the reader.
