何: 您好，我是何老师，今天，我非常的高兴能够有机会访问台湾一位从事保育工作的小姐。请问您贵姓？
甘：我姓甘，我叫做甘辰怡。
何：甘小姐，您现在是学生还是在工作？
甘：我现在是学生也在工作。
何：请问您从事什么样的工作呢？
甘：我从事台湾白海豚的保育工作。
何：台湾有白海豚啊？
甘：有的，台湾的白海豚就住在西海岸。从苗栗到台南的海边都可以看到。
何：请问目前台湾有几只白海豚呢？
甘：台湾目前只有不到一百只的白海豚。
何：请问这些白海豚是白色的吗？
甘：白海豚长大以后的确是白色的，可是刚出生的时候却是全身灰色的。
何：为什么有人把这些白海豚叫做Taiwan Pink Dolphin？
甘：因为全身白色的白海豚，它们在快速游泳的时候，就像人类一样，身体会发红变成粉红色。所以我们叫它Pink Dolphin。
何：请问台湾这些白海豚它们有多大呀？
甘：台湾的白海豚最大可以长到两百八十公分，相当于一般住家的一层楼这么高。
何：那小海豚多大？
甘：刚出生的小海豚大概只有一百四十公分，就像我们常常看到的小朋友一样。
何：它们一定很可爱。请问您，台湾的白海豚跟一般的海豚有什么不一样的地方？
甘：台湾的白海豚非常特殊的是在它身体颜色。它长大以后虽然全身都是白色的，可是呢，身上会留有一些灰色的斑点。而其它的地方，比如说中国沿海的白海豚，它们的身体呢却是没有斑点全身都是白色的。
何：听说台湾的白海豚又叫做“妈祖鱼”，这是为什么呢？
甘：妈祖是台湾非常重要的一个女神。因为她会保护在海上的渔民，还有在海上的船。所以呢，台湾的渔民在妈祖的生日，也就是农历三月的时候，常常看到白海豚在海上出现。他们认为这些可爱的海豚是来跟妈祖过生日的。所以就帮它们取了一个绰号叫做“妈祖鱼”。
何：哇，所以台湾人大概很喜欢这些白海豚，是不是？
甘：是的，尤其是台湾的渔民。因为他们跟妈祖的关系非常的密切，所以他们对于白海豚也是非常的有感情。
何：那请问台湾人很喜欢这些白海豚，为什么它们又濒临绝种呢？
甘：主要可以分成两个原因。第一个是白海豚它们的繁殖率比较低，也就是说它们必须要有比较长的时间才能生下一只小海豚，所以造成它们的数量非常的少。那么再来呢，是因为污染还有开发的关系，让它们的压力非常的大，所以白海豚在台湾目前剩不到一百只。
何：白海豚要多长的时间生长？
甘：一只白海豚它如果生长到可以生下baby的年纪大概是需要十年。
何：哇，这么长啊。那请问您，我们要怎么样的来帮忙保护这些白海豚呢？
甘：其实呢，只要是跟您身边的朋友或者你家人多多讲一些白海豚的故事，多多让他们认识这个白海豚，就是一个最直接，而且是每个人都可以做的保育的动作。
