Your business librarian feels your pain! I’ve preferred Macs since 1992, even during the dark days of 1999’s 3% market share!
First, if you’re using Office365, you may want to try the free Excel for Mac option.
Unfortunately the commands and shortcuts on the Mac version do vary a bit from the PC version. Thus, if the PC version of Excel is what you need, consider installing Parallels or something similar on your Mac.
Remember, the business library has several PCs available for you to use anytime the library is open. We have the Thomson add-in and the Factset add- in installed on specific machines here as well.
If you want to learn more tricks and tips in Excel, there are a variety of tutorials available via Lynda.com. These multi-hour advanced tutorials include detailed tables of contents so you can target the specific training content you seek.
