A new Emory Photo Club exhibit of five photos, the winners of their “Earth Day” themed competition, is up on the orange wall on Level 2 in the Learning Commons. The following is from the accompanying description:
“Photo Club Emory is an organization that promotes and endorses creativity and passion through photography. Our members are devoted college students who want to show the world through their lens. The photos displayed are only some examples of how we can tell and share our stories.
Photo Club hosts monthly competitions that enthusiastic members of the Emory community can participate in. For the month of April, we collaborated with the Goizueta Energy and Environment Group (GEEG) for this competition themed “Earth Day.” So often we are caught up with daily errands that we forget about the beautiful and mesmerizing our surroundings are. These photos only represent a small part of the world, but we hope that they can remind you of how amazing our Earth is.”
Take a look as you walk through the Library this summer.
This is our third such exhibit. Kathy Dixson and John Klingler have been directly involved in printing and mounting the photos. For more Emory Photo Club information, contact Liv Wang at liv [dot] wang [at] emory [dot] edu.
