Upcoming FSAP Programs

The Faculty Staff Assistance Program (FSAP) announces the following upcoming programs.

  • Wednesday, November 18, 4:00pm-5:00pm – Rethinking Drinking & Other Substance Use During the Pandemic – Are you or a loved one drinking more during COVID-19?  You/they are not alone. Recent statistics show increased use of alcohol and other drugs, which has been attributed to escalated anxiety and stress, boredom, social isolation, grief, depression, uncertainty and other challenges.  Join this virtual session to learn about patterns and signs of problematic substance use, as well as alternative strategies for healthy coping during the holidays, the pandemic and beyond. The first step to change is self-awareness! Registration is not required.
  • Thursday, November 19, Noon-1:00pm Single Mingle: A Virtual Thanksgiving Progressive “Dinner”Holidays may be challenging for employees who live alone during COVID.  Join us for a virtual progressive “dinner” and we’ll serve up some nourishing opportunities to connect via smaller breakout rooms for “drinks,” “appetizers,” “dinner” and “dessert.”  About 20 employees joined the first Single Mingle and we hope to double participation this month. Register here and a Zoom link will be provided.
