It gives us immense pleasure to inform you that we are going to edit a book on Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni’s writings. Therefore, we invite your unpublished critical essays on the work of Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni. The book is tentatively titled Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni: A Collection of Critical Essays and will be published by a renowned publisher.
Your article may reflect any of the themes such as Diaspora, pain of immigrants, feminism, post-colonialism, ethnicity etc in her writings. It may also include a comparative study of Chitra’s work with any other contemporary author.

Editing Requirements

· Font & size: Times New Roman 12, Spacing: 1.5 lines, Margin of 1 inch on all four sides
· Title of the paper: bold, Sentence case (Capitalize each word), centered
· Text of the paper: Justified.
· References: MLA style
· Articles should be submitted as MS Word attachments only
· The length of article should be 3000-5000 words

Please submit the unpublished work including an abstract of 150 words approximately and brief description about the author to criticalessays20@gmail.com by December 15, 2016.

  1. I would love to read this book when it is finished. I interviewed Chitra Divakaruni twice for a PBS television series used to teach college writers. The series was used by thousands of teachers and seen by millions of students.

    Chitra was one of more than 50 writers and teachers included in the 26 program PBS series, but she was one of the STRONGEST interviews!
