NIA Data LINKAGE Program (LINKAGE)

The purpose of the Program is to link NIA-funded study data with existing datasets from Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and other sources and establish a cloud-based environment to support data accessibility and sharing. In providing these resources free of charge, LINKAGE aims to reduce resource cost and time barriers and promote access for researchers.  

Long-Term Care Data Cooperative

The LTC Data Cooperative is a novel data resource that assembles skilled nursing facilities & assisted living communities electronic health record (EHR) data. This long-term care provider-led effort, funded by the National Institute on Aging (NIA), serves four key purposes: (1) healthcare operations/population health analytics; (2) public health surveillance; (3) observational, comparative effectiveness research; and (4) clinical research studies.
