Katherine Culley is an education abroad advisor who works with students interested in studying in the UK, Ireland, and Asia. Outside of advising students, Katherine works behind the scenes with the online resources such as the website and program brochures. She also coordinates the semester study abroad fair. Katherine joined the Education Abroad team in December 2019.
While Katherine grew up in Virginia, she considers North Carolina home. Katherine completed her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Secondary Education and her Master’s degree in international studies. While in undergrad, she studied abroad through a third-party provider and spent a semester in Seville, Spain, living with a host family. She enjoyed practicing her Spanish, eating the local cuisine (Paella was her favorite!), and traveling in and around Spain. One of her favorite trips while abroad was visiting Turkey in the midst of the tulip season.
In her free time, Katherine enjoys reading, spending time with family, exploring Atlanta, and trying out new recipes.
