• Do NOT just perform a Google search and use those materials without attribuItion! Remember that all forms of media (photos, music, videos, etc.) are subject to copyright claims.
• Use Creative Commons (CC) to find academically-licensed materials

• Be sure to properly attribute your media to the copyright holder. Stealing from CC is just as bad as stealing from anywhere else!
  • Follow the CC “best practices for attribution” guidelines to properly cite your work
  • Be sure to ask proper permission if the license requires it
