This episode, Harmful Rhetoric in The Public Square explores how harmful rhetoric has disrupted our public square, specifically, in regard to the anti-Asian rhetoric that has occurred as a result of COVID-19. Two individuals with different backgrounds share their thoughts on this topic. One voice is a Venezuelan immigrant pastor and the other is a young Chinese-American who works part-time a a fabric retailer. These voices give perspective from both, inside the church, as well as, from outside the church.

And while that is language that is particular to the Christian community, I think it can be really helpful to interrupt hegemonic/harmful discursive practice.
