WHSC Library Seminar Series on Rigor and Reproducibility presents “Advancing Research Through the Lenses of Sex and Gender with Rigorous Methods and Reproducibility”

Speaker: Cecile Delille Lahiri MD, MSc, Associate Professor, Emory University School of Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases

Date: Thursday, April 11, 2-3pm.

Register: https://emorylibraries.libcal.com/event/12031628

Description: NIH expects that sex as a biological variable (and, when relevant, gender) will be factored into research designs, analyses, and reporting in vertebrate animal and human studies.  Consideration of sex and/or gender may be critical in the interpretation, validation, and generalizability of research findings.  This presentation will give an overview of how to incorporate sex and/or gender into research studies to optimize rigor and reproducibility.

Session will be recorded. Previous seminars and recordings can be found at https://guides.libraries.emory.edu/rigor-rep.
