“When the Emory Unit Went to War” Exhibit at the WHSC Library

On display through March 2015, the opening reception for the WHSC Library exhibit “When the Emory Unit Went to War” took place on June 13th. In attendance were several relatives of Edward C. Davis, founder of the World War I Emory Unit; also in attendance was Thomas Claiborne Jr., the son of Major T. Sterling Claiborne, Chief of Cardiology Section in the World War II Emory Unit.

The exhibit is located on the entry level of the WHSC Library, and is open during library hours.  Please visit the library’s webpage for directions, parking, hours and maps.
