In this post, I highlight features from the Canvas release on Saturday, June 17th, and the code deploy on Wednesday, June 21st.
Starting on Saturday, June 17:
- Teachers can easily publish or unpublish all modules & module items.
- Teachers using New Quizzes will use the Canvas RCE (rich content editor) to write questions and answers. This allows teachers to embed content from integrated Apps (such as Canvas Studio) into NQ items.
- Teachers using New Quizzes can also check a box under NQ assignment details to prevent a NQ from appearing in the gradebook. This is intended to be used with practice quizzes worth zero points.

Instructure plans to implement a data limit for the user access report under the People tool on June 21. After that, only accesses within the past year will be included in the user access report. Click here to see Wednesday, June 21, 2023 deploy notes.
