The Emory Center for Digital Scholarship will host the first Connect with Research event, a showcase of faculty who use digital technology as part of their research. It is often difficult to keep up with how our colleagues at Emory are leveraging new technologies, and where to locate resources on campus to assist with your next research initiative.
Each faculty member will briefly present their research projects and analysis of the impact of the technology in the process. Following the presentations, participants will then have the opportunity to interact and discuss at rotating round table discussions with each faculty member.
While this particular event is heavily focused on digital humanities, all interested parties from any discipline are welcome to attend and envision ways that technology may play a role in their research.
Join us as we connect faculty, technology, and research. Light bites, desserts, and refreshments will be served!
