Sriram Chari (pronounced SHREE-rahm CHAH-ree) joins LITS as the new Middleware Director, where he will direct the Identity Management, Integration, Dev Ops and Database Administration teams. Before coming to Emory, he was the Director of Integration Technology at Elavon for three years and an enterprise tools architect for two years at Suntrust. Sriram also spent many years at Allstate as a delivery manager, manager, project manager, Java developer, mainframe and AS400 developer.
A native of Chennai, India, Sriram attended Madras University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in electronics and communications. He then moved to the US and earned a master of science from Northern Illinois University and Masters in Business Administration from Illinois Institute of Technology.
Sriram is an avid reader and cook (he makes pasta from scratch), and is a world traveler. This year the Chari Family traveled to Israel, Jordan, and Turkey. Sriram and his wife are approaching their 15-year anniversary and they have an 11-year-old daughter. They also have a long-haired dachshund named Yoda.
