Please join us for the Health Services Research Center Lunch & Learn on Wednesday, June 26th in Emory SOM 153A from noon-1pm. Dr. Jordan Kempker, Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine, will present several case examples from his own research that highlight examples of the use of large national data analyses in health services research. This talk will highlight Dr. Kempkerโ€™s research trajectory of using large national datasets to examine health services themes in sepsis and acute respiratory distress syndrome to introduce more practical research advice on working with secondary analysis of large national datasets such as the National Center for Health Statistics, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, and Healthcare Utilization Project datasets.
