The types of activities or experiences may include: 

·         Be part of a project management team, supporting the implementation of short term and long term programs

·         Writing summaries of findings, articles, meeting notes, government reports

·         Developing slides, tools and other materials suitable for publication on the Million Hearts® website, or as handouts for meetings, etc.  

·         Conducting literature reviews

·         Presenting results or explaining programs to internal and external audiences, including professional meetings and/or conferences

·         Facilitating and leading meetings and calls with internal staff and partners

·         Develop and sustain key partnerships 

The participants will gain:

·         Increased knowledge and application of public health principles in a national initiative

·         Increased knowledge of cardiovascular health and strategies to impact cardiovascular health

·         Improved meeting facilitation and speaking skills

·         Insights into program management at a national and project level

The qualified candidate should have received a master’s degree in one of the relevant fields (Life and Medical Sciences, Communications, Social and Behavioral Sciences). Degree must have been received within five years of the appointment start date.

·         Good oral and written communication skills

·         Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

·         Creative thinking 

·         Strong team player who performs equally well independently 

·         Thrives in a team environment

·         Fast learner
