World AIDS Day 2020 is Tuesday, December 1st and the theme for 2020 is “Ending the HIV/AIDS Epidemic: Resilience and Impact” (“Erradicar la epidemia del VIH/SIDA: Resiliencia e Impacto”). Traditionally, Quilt on the Quad Emory, in collaboration with the NAMES Project, organizes one of the largest collegiate displays of the AIDS memorial quilt panels. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it does not appear that Emory will be displaying the quilt on campus this year, but there are still ways to participate in observing the quilt safely through social distancing.
