Architecture is constantly changing throughout history. There are trends that can stick for a year and others that do for centuries. In my podcast, I discuss ski architecture as a whole, the practicality of it, the trends, and how it has adjusted when skiing became popular in the United States. From there I will get more specific and will talk about the architectural style of the Deer Valley resort in Park City, Utah, specifically their 2010 Montage Hotel. I will go into depth about the specific features of the hotel such as amenities and overall vibe it portrays to customers. I will also touch on characteristics of the Montage brand. After discussing specific architectural decisions made when constructing the Montage at Deer Valley, I will talk about how these decisions ultimately attract more customers. And finally, I will end the podcast by talking a bit about my personal experience skiing at Deer Valley.
