Darla comes to Emory with more than seven years of call center experience working with various teams for EarthLink and Apple. Her technical aptitude and drive for customer satisfaction contributed to her success at EarthLink, winning awards such as the prestigious J.D. Powers Customer Service Award.
“Mary Kinney‘s (Enterprise Services) vision for Coordinator Services is very exciting,” says Darla, “and I think I will contribute a lot to the team. I am looking forward to having Mary as a mentor.”
Before coming to Emory, Darla lived in British Columbia, Canada and worked as a baker for four years. Don’t be surprised if you find some new tasty treats in the Coordinator area (which always seems filled with diet-crushing goodies).
Originally from the Philippines, Darla received a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of the Philippines.
Darla loves doing yoga and playing video games on her xBox, with Skyrim and Witcher 2 being her current favorites. She also married a Lilburn police officer last February.
