The Business Library team recently organized the 8th annual Advanced Challenge. The 15 participating students had completed six Business Essentials classes, a series offered by the business library to sharpen undergraduate business students’ research skills. The classes start students on their path toward becoming a problem solver and critical thinker – highly sought after skills in today’s competitive market place.
The students researched steps Ford Motor Company should take to increase market share, in the wake of General Motors’ recall problems. They then presented their recommendations to a panel of judges consisting of a professor and two librarians. The winning team received prizes, generously donated by our Emory vendor, CDW-G.
