In his new role, Thomas Armour will be working with various groups to identify and resolve issues with MacAfee Antivirus, MySoft, Verint and Software Express on a more enterprise-wide basis. A seven-year Emory veteran, Tom was hired originally in 2007 to work on the enterprise-wide desktop management solution (LANDesk).
Before coming to Emory, Thomas did LANDesk consulting for four years and worked for CocaCola Enterprises for seven years as a LANDesk manager.
Thomas grew up in Grove City, PA, and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering technology from Southern Polytechnic State University, in Marietta, GA.
For fun, Thomas is a ham radio operator and dabbles in electronics. He recently completed a “Worked All States” radio certification, which is an award for contacting individual amateur radio stations in each US state.
