“I do not miss winter,” said Neil D’Cruze.

Neil D’Cruze joined Interlibrary Loan to help manage borrowing processing, lending processing, and some gifts processing. Neil got involved in library work as an Emory student and enjoyed it enough to make it his vocation. His first Emory job was ten years ago as a library specialist in the storage library in the 1762 Building.

Neil graduated from Emory with a bachelor’s degree in biology. He is originally from Milwaukee, WI, but fell in love with Emory while visiting balmy Atlanta and has never looked back. “I do not miss winter,” said Neil.

For fun, Neil plays board and video games (his current favorites are King of New York and Skyrim, respectively), and he enjoys visiting museums and the Botanical Gardens with his wife.

“I am excited to be working more centrally on campus,” said Neil, “and in a department that works with literally everybody on campus. It’s been a great experience.”
