As a new database administrator, Mark Lee has been working on MySQL migrations, eIRB, and SQL server and Oracle database support. Before coming to Emory, Mark had worked in higher education for 8 years.
One of Mark’s favorite work experiences was working for Major League Baseball as a data architect and administrator in New York City. One of the perks of that job included free baseball games in Yankee Stadium.
A native of Queens, NY, Mark earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from Johns Hopkins University and a pair of master’s degrees from Columbia University in statistics and business administration.
Mark is enjoying his life in sunny Georgia. He goes to the gym every day and loves meeting people. “I was fortunate to get this job,” said Mark. “Georgia is the best state I visited.” Mark’s family plans on moving to Georgia this summer to start a new and better life.
