Palmer White joins the project management office to manage a broad range of projects. Previously, he worked for four years as a project manager for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Palmer also spent eight years doing project management for the American Cancer Society and Home Depot.

A native of Atlanta and graduate of Westminster High School, Palmer received his bachelor of arts in religion from Duke University and has an Executive MBA from the University of Georgia. He later returned to Duke to get a law degree.

Palmer returned to Atlanta for family and because of his familiarity with the area, but he also spent time living abroad in England and Japan.

For fun, Palmer is an avid writer and also coaches his ten-year-old daughter’s soccer team, the Dixie Kicks. He also enjoys spending time with his family. Palmer’s wife, Beth, is an undergraduate career counselor at Emory.

“Emory is a unique place and it appeals to me that the work has a higher purpose,” said Palmer. “I like the idea of working at an institution that helps people and provides real value to the community.”
