Bernard Browning comes to Emory to do moves, adds, and changes (MAC) for the Field Services team. Before his arrival in LITS, Bernard spent 16 years as a MAC coordinator at Siemens. He also worked for nearly three years as an on-site technician for Netlink Services.
A proud graduate of Redan High School, Bernard describes himself as a “Grady baby,” who is a true Atlanta native. Bernard carries a low voltage license for the state of Georgia, which is a requirement for the installation of telecommunications systems.
Bernard is a major basketball fan who loves the UNC Tarheels and is also an avid reader. “I also do what my wife, Larrita tells me to do,” smiled Bernard. They have a daughter who is 26.
“Emory offers the kind of stability I have been looking for,” added Bernard. “Instead of working as the lone technician, I have joined a good team with supervisors who really support their employees.”
