Del Gonzalez is the newest communications specialist to join the Field Services team. He has been self-employed since 2009 and is the president of a small low voltage company called Delcom Inc. Del has also subcontracted through American Telecom Services. Del was introduced to the telecommunications field back in 1996 when he joined the Navy.

Born in Tela, Honduras, Del grew up in New York City. He has an associate’s degree in computer networking and also carries an unrestricted low voltage license.

Del is a husband, father of three, and stays very involved with his children’s activities that include soccer, football, gymnastics, and piano lessons. Del volunteers at Bethesda Park Soccer Complex, where he says that coaching kids is very rewarding but the parents can be a challenge. He is a fan of all teams in Atlanta. Del is a spiritual man and is a proud member of Gwinnett Church.

“I’m loving my new job and I’ve known my teammates and supervisors for years through contracting,” said Del. “It feels like home.”
