“Emory is a prestigious and wonderful place to work.” – Amanda Adams

Amanda Adams is the newest library specialist in the GBL. She previously served over two years as a library assistant for the Hall County Library System.

A native of Toccoa, GA, Amanda attended the University of North Georgia, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in English literature.

Because of her English background, Amanda loves to read and write, in which she does professional freelancing as well as short fiction. She also enjoys hiking and biking when the weather cooperates.

“Emory is a prestigious and wonderful place to work,” says Amanda. “When I interviewed, everyone was fantastic, the campus was beautiful, and I simply had to work here.”
