Jay Clements is the new computer labs coordinator for Student Digital Life (SDL). He is responsible for computers in the Woodruff Library, Cox Hall, Tarbutton, Bowden, Whitehall, WHSCL, SAAC, and a few other miscellaneous labs and kiosks around campus.
Jay previously spent twelve years at The Galloway School, a private K-12 in Chastain Park. For eight years there, he did desktop and classroom support and the last four years he ran the school’s 1-1 laptop program as their laptop and mobile device management (MDM) technician. Jay also spent five years in tech support at Clayton State University.
Born in tiny Newborn, Georgia, Jay attended Clayton State University. He lives in Roswell, GA with his wife of twelve years, who is an immigration law attorney.
Jay likes mountain biking, running with his dog, woodworking, and cooking.
“The SDL team has been wonderfully open and helpful in these first couple of months at Emory,” said Jay. “I am excited to be a part of the many and varied projects underway here at SDL.”
